Teaching Engineering Ethics Workshop

11 Jul 2008

The Royal Academy of Engineering and Engineering Professors’ Council’s Teaching Engineering Ethics working group is organising a one-day workshop for new teachers of engineering ethics.  This workshop is for new and established academics who are, or who may shortly be, teaching engineering ethics for the first time.  It is also suitable for academics interested in integrated ethics into their engineering degree.  The workshop will be held on Friday July 11th, at The Royal Academy of Engineering, Carlton House Terrace, London.

The workshop will involve hearing the experiences of academics who have successfully introduced ethics courses and content into their department’s degree and includes practical sessions on finding ways to cover ethics within your own degree.  Details of the day and information on registering is available online here:  http://www.raeng.org.uk/policy/ethics/pdf/New_teachers_workshop.pdf
